Dear Mohan,
I am very pleased to read my old and dear colleague Ramaswamy's letter. I thank himprofusely for his gesture, and shall try to communicate with him soon.
He is an extra-ordinarily brilliant and organised person, and worked with Mr.Zemelka - father of your child-hood friend Uwe.
For some years, he was Managing Director of British Oxygen in Calcutta, and has been a reputed Metallurgist and Business leader.
My good wishes to him and his family. His sons are all equally brilliant (Ph.Ds) and well settled. His brother in Germany should also be a wonderful person. Do establish cllose contact with him.
Love,
Appa

Subject: Note from Mr. K.V.Narayanamurthi
Dear Sir,
At the outset I wish to inform you that this mail is more a personal one than making any comments on the subject.
I believe from the language, crispness and error free facts that the author of this note Mr. K.V.Narayanamurthi is the same person who was the company's secretary of "Utkal Machinery Limited,Kansbahal ,Orissa in the early 60s.
I am K.Ramaswamy who joined the same company on return from Germany in the year 1963 (then Federal Republic of Germany) as an engineer in the foundry, had the privelage having him as my very senior collegue.
His handling of the germans and at the same time keep things flowing smmothly whether at Delhi , at state capital Bhubaneshwar or at district head quarters Sundergarh was great .His command over the language and the subject matter was phenomenal and this reflects on this present note aswell.
My association with him enriched my life in many ways which stands by me all the time and it also helped me to become the company's General Manager in the later years.
Again I had the chance of meeting him after almost 40 years in a common family function when he was in Chennai to attend judge Krishnaswamy's 80th(?) birthday celebrations
I believe you Mr. Mohan Murthi is his son and is with CII based in Germany, earlier in Bangalore.
Please convey my respectful regards to your father.
With best regards,
Yours sincerely,
K.Ramaswamy
P.S.
My brother who is a naturalised german citizen Mr.Sundaram Iyer is the
president of "Indo German Association"Nuerenberg.
He retired two years ago as oberingeniur,Siemens, Erlangen. You are
most welcome to get in touch with him
